In the departure from the previous novels, the fifth book in this series takes place concurrently with its predecessor. It focuses on some characters whose stories are not present in the last book.

A Storm of Swords (Game of Thrones books 3) is the most loved book from the order of Game of Thrones. It continues where A Clash of Kings ended.

George R.R. Martin (The Creator aka Author)

George Raymond Richard Martin was born on September 20, 1948, in Bayonne, New Jersey.

Martin began selling science fiction short stories professionally in 1970 at age 21.

The short stories he was able to sell in his early 20s gave him some profit, but not enough to pay his bills.

The lesse profits prevented him from becoming the full-time writer he wanted to be. This was a time of great difficulty for him.

Martin is opposed to fan fiction, which he views as copyright infringement and a bad exercise for aspiring writers in terms of developing skills in word building and character development.

After writing many stories, he was inspired by many elements. These elements were the significant factors which ultimately led him to write ‘A Song of Ice and Fire.’

GOT will always leave you wanting for more nail-biting sequence.

Discussing this topic broadly, GOT has been a phenomenal series so far. It has all the elements that keep the audience hooked to their seats.

While the basic storyline is that many royal families fought for an iron throne, but they have to mind the business of outside evil army.

It’s got kings and knights, crown and sword, dragons and ghost. All the elements of a fantasy series to give you a riveting experience are present in this book series.
